About Us
Red River Coatings is a rail tank car and hopper car interior coatings and linings facility certified to AAR M 1003 Quality Standards. We are a fully certified in codes C5-C10 of the AAR 1002 certification standards.
Red River Coatings was established by Mr. Jonathan Stahl in 2005 who remains as President. Our Plant Manager, Chris Carroll, has been with the company since our inception.
Our specialty trained and certified staff have years of experience in railcar interior coating repair and application.
We apply all railcar interior coatings including Carboline, Plasite, Hempel and many others.
Red river coatings
We are trained and certified in Level II NDT such as Bubble Leak, Ultrasonic Thickness Testing, and Visual Weld Testing.
Our NACE certified inspectors can inspect and report all you coating and lining maintentance needs and our staff can repair
We are serviced by the Texas Northeastern Railroad. Since many tank and hopper cars pass through Texarkana, we feel we can perform your interior coatings needs with minimal empty mileage and out-of-service time accumulating.
Conveniently Located
There is a full-service repair and manufacturing facility next to us, Texana Tank Car which we collaborate and do many joint projects for our customers. Texana/Midway Tank Cleaning Facility is also located close by. This provides our customers with the added advantage of one shopping for complete repairs, thus minimizing days in shop.

We use the basic AAR format for billing. We have the capabilities for invoicing electronically or by E-Mail.
